About this timer
About the length of a half-hour show on a streaming service: with no ad breaks to make room for, comedies and animated episodes often run a couple of minutes past thirty. That makes it a ready-made "one episode, then bed" limit. For a task, it's half an hour of work with two minutes to get set up.
Close to an hour without committing to one, which suits deep work sessions, laundry cycles, exam practice, and slow cooking. Leave the tab in the background and the alarm will still fire at the right moment, because the countdown is anchored to a clock time rather than to a ticking counter.
Need a different length? Set a custom timer in hours, minutes and seconds, or pick one of the presets below.
