About this timer
The running time of an hour-long network TV drama once the commercials are taken out: roughly 42 minutes of show in a 60-minute slot. Without the ads, that's exactly one episode. It's also a workout that fits inside a lunch hour and still leaves time to change and eat.
Close to an hour without committing to one, which suits deep work sessions, laundry cycles, exam practice, and slow cooking. Leave the tab in the background and the alarm will still fire at the right moment, because the countdown is anchored to a clock time rather than to a ticking counter.
