Privacy Policy

TimerAlarmClock is a set of free browser tools. There is no account to create, nothing to install, and no server that stores what you do. Every timer, alarm, stopwatch reading and countdown you set stays on your own device.

The tools remember a small amount of information so they keep working when you refresh the page or come back later. All of it is stored by your browser, on your device, using localStorage and sessionStorage. None of it is transmitted anywhere.

• Your alarm time and whether an alarm is currently set.
• A running or paused timer, stopwatch or countdown, so a refresh does not lose it.
• Stopwatch lap times, and the optional title you can give a countdown.
• Your preferences: light or dark theme, alarm and completion sounds, 12-hour or 24-hour clock, and whether the clock shows seconds, the date and the time zone.

You can remove all of it at any time by clearing site data for this site in your browser settings. Nothing is kept anywhere else, so that is genuinely all of it.

We do not ask for or receive your name, email address, phone number or payment details. We do not use your location: the time zone the clock shows comes from your own browser settings, not from your IP address or GPS, and no location lookup of any kind is performed.

The text you type into a countdown title never leaves your browser. It is not sent to a server, does not appear in the page address, and is not included in anything the site publishes.

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which tools get used. It records anonymous, aggregated usage events — for example that a timer was started or a countdown completed — along with the standard information Google Analytics collects, such as approximate region, device type and referring page. Google sets cookies on your device to do this.

We never send Google the contents of anything you type, including countdown titles. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on, with your browser's cookie controls, or with any tracker blocker.

Cookies on this site come from Google: Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits, and Google AdSense sets cookies to serve and measure advertising. The tools themselves use browser storage rather than cookies, and that storage is never sent to a server.

Two Google services are loaded: Google Analytics, described above, and Google AdSense, which serves the advertising on this site. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this or other sites. You can control how Google personalises the ads you see at adssettings.google.com. There are no social widgets, no embedded fonts and no other external scripts.

This site is free to use and is paid for by advertising served by Google AdSense. Advertising is kept out of the way of the tool on each page. We never send Google the contents of anything you type, including alarm names and countdown titles.

These tools are suitable for general audiences and collect no personal information from anyone, including children.

If how the site handles data changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
