About this timer
A hundred seconds is 1 minute 40. Teachers use it for timed math-fact drills and lightning rounds, and it turns up as a round length in party and trivia games where a full two minutes feels too generous.
A few minutes is the classic kitchen and workout interval: steeping tea, soft-boiling eggs, resting between sets, or capping a discussion that tends to run long. The countdown stays accurate if you switch tabs, because it is anchored to a real clock time - but if your phone locks, it usually cannot ring on time.
Need a different length? Set a custom timer in hours, minutes and seconds, or pick one of the presets below.
