About this alarm
Midnight alarms are usually reminders, not wake-ups: a late train, a deadline that closes at 11:59 PM, or a product release. Remember that 12 AM is the start of the next day, so an alarm set at 11 PM for 12 AM rings in one hour.
Alarms this deep into the night are usually for travel, shift work, or watching something happening on the other side of the world. Set it, leave this tab open, and keep the device plugged in and awake.
Need a different time? Change the hour, minute or AM/PM above - you can set any minute of the day, and this page stays put. The online alarm clock works exactly the same way.
Nap or reminder?
Using this alarm to end a nap? Start resting at these times to be woken at 12:00 AM:
| Nap length | Start at |
|---|---|
| 20 minutes | 11:40 PM |
| 90 minutes | 10:30 PM |
Add a few minutes to actually fall asleep. A 20-minute nap is short enough to avoid grogginess; 90 minutes is about one full sleep cycle.
